I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
I earned my Ph.D. in Educational Organization and Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education and a dissertation in Engineering Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I earned the B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution. My engineering education research interests include engineering identity, critical consciousness in engineering design, culture of engineering, minoritized student experience, and mentoring.
